Pioneer Day

Every year our stake celebrates Pioneer Day by having food, live entertainment, and fun booths for the kids to visit. My kids really enjoyed riding the horses, having their face painted, making a corn husk dolls and enjoying a stick biscuit.

OC mudrun

I did the OC mudrun this past Saturday with my friend. It was a 5k run through muddy obstacles. I was really nervous about this event but had a great time!

Ashton's 13th Birthday at the Park

Ashton wanted to go to the beach for his birthday and have a bonfire. Evan and Ashton set out the morning of his birthday and couldn't find a fire ring from Corona del Mar clear up to Sunset Beach. They came home and we decided to go up to the park and have dinner, hike and play games. It turned out to be great fun and Ashton was just happy to have family and friends around him.

I can't believe 13 years ago I was in the hospital having my first born. Ashton we are so proud of you and the young man you have grown into. You are very responsible, hardworking, humorous, caring and loving thanks for being such a wonderful son:-) We love you lots!!!!

Ethan's Sharp Dressed Man lipsync

I didn't post the pictures of Ethan's lip sync group. They did Sharp Dressed Man and their group made it into the finals which was an all school assembly.

Summer Camping trip!

We were able to go camping up in Santa Barbara in El Capitan w/ the Beck family. It was beautiful and so much fun. Ellie was such a good baby and all the kids really enjoyed themselves.The campsite was so beautiful and overlooked the ocean. Every night the sound of waves crashing lulled us into sleep it was wonderful. We also went to Solvang, visited a mission, and went to the farmers market.
