LIp Sync 09

Every year our school does Lip Sync. This year Emilee's group did "Ballroom Blitz" we decided to give it a punk look! They did a really good job and I am so proud of Emilee:)

I am so proud of Ethan and his lip sync group they were awesome! There were 10 3rd grade boys in his group, imagine!!! They did the song "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top.

Mother Daughter Tea

In 5th grade at our school the girls get to go to a tea w/ their moms. It is a really nice evening and the school nurse comes and does a presentation for the girls. She talks about the upcoming changes that will occur in the girls life in a sweet informative way that isn't embarrassing to the girls. It felt a little surreal to be sitting there w/ my daughter!!!!

Ellie's Ultrasound

When Ellie had her 6 month check up they measured her head and it measured big. Well I have always had big headed kids so this comes as no surprise to me but the doctor said better to be safe than sorry. He ordered a ultrasound of Ellie's head to make sure that it really was just a big head or as I like to say "big brains." Later that day he called to confirm Ellie just has a big head!

Ellie update

I haven't been very good at updating my blog w/ important milestones for Ellie lately so I will just recap Ellie's 6 month of life for you. She now weighs 15lbs. and is 24 and a half inches long.
She loves to eat and growls for more if I am not getting it to her mouth fast enough!! My mother in law bought a baby food grinder and we love it I can just grind up whatever we eat or some veggies and Ellie doesn't seem to care as long as the food goes into her mouth:)
Ellie just this past weekend has really started scooting and getting somewhere. Now when she sets her sights on something (mostly me) she can get there pretty quickly...not sure how I feel about this yet, lol!
We love her so much and it is so fun to see her little personality coming out more.

California Adventure

Last Friday night we went to Disney California Adventure w/ my sister and her kids and the Gardner Family. The kids had a lot of fun. We did a lot of 3D attractions Bugs Life 3D show, Muppet 3D show, and the Toy Story ride, we were all seeing double by the end of the night.

Savannah and Aubree

Aubree was so excited that her friend "Fanana" aka Savannah came to visit. Not only did Aubree see her at church they were able to play at the park one afternoon. They are really cute together no matter how much time elapses between visits they still pick up where they left off!

Aubree got a hair cut!

My sister and I were taking the girl's to get their hair cut and Aubree said she wanted her hair short like Grandma Kathy so I was brave and wasn't disappointed. She looks so cute and sassy w/ her new hair do ;-)

Mother's Day!

I don't have a lot of pictures on my camera from Mother's Day but I had a wonderful day. My mother in law did flowers for the church so the whole house smelled beautiful. Evan got all the kids ready for church and taught my class so I could go to Relief Society. All the family came over for a yummy dinner and it was really relaxing and enjoyable:) I love my family!
